Nursery Weekly Update 27.06.16
Dear Parents,
It has been another busy week in the Nursery!
Strawberry, vanilla or chocolate??? That was the big question being posed last week as the Nursery children celebrated Ice Cream Week. Unfortunately, the weather didn´t allow us to celebrate outside in the sun every day, but we made sure to eat ice cream as soon as the sun showed itself on Thursday.
The Little Dragons enjoyed their ice cream under the sun shade at “St. George´s Ice Cream Parlour” and the Nursery children all sat together with ice cream dripping down their chins and hands, which was a wonderful sight to see.
Last week we also welcomed new families to St. George´s Open Day. Whilst parents enjoyed coffee, the children explored the playground and took a peek into the daily routine of life at Nursery. It is a pleasure to know that we will soon welcome new children into our St. George´s family, and an event we always look forward to.
A gentle reminder – next Friday 1st of July, we will be hosting our Teddy Bears’ Picnic annual event. Please remember to pack a picnic rug, a snack and of course your child´s favourite teddy!
