SUB-MENU

St. George’s provides a caring and supportive environment in which young people feel inspired to learn. We encourage our pupils to explore and develop their passions and interests, nurturing curiosity and fostering ambition. Our curriculum is designed to provide the best possible foundation for every child to achieve their aspirations.

Our curriculum is based on the National Curriculum for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. This provides a broad, flexible and challenging framework which allows us to develop reflective and knowledgeable learners who are ready for the demands of the future. It allows us to nurture life-long learning skills, developing the whole child, not just knowledge and understanding alone. In the Sixth Form, the International Baccalaureate Diploma builds on these skills to produce fully rounded individuals, ready for the challenges of university and beyond.

We regularly review and adapt our curriculum to ensure it meets the needs of our ever changing international community. With a wide range of nationalities represented across the school, it is important to us that topics remain relevant and interesting to our pupils, and offer a balanced, multi-cultural view of the world.
