Our teaching staff form the core of the St. George’s community and bring the
St. George’s experience to life.
All of our teachers are fully qualified, and hold either a degree in education or post-graduate teaching diploma. Secondary school teachers hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in their subject specialism or in a related field. The majority of our teachers speak English as a first language and have prior experience in the British education system.
In our primary school, the class teacher delivers the core subjects, as well as caring for the welfare of our pupils. Specialist teachers are available for German, Physical Education, Music, Modern Foreign Languages. There are also teachers dedicated to supporting pupils who speak English as an additional language or who have other learning requirements.
In our secondary school, pupils are taught by teachers who are specialists in their subject area. A form teacher acts as a contact person for parents, overseeing pupils’ welfare and general academic progress.
